One of the things that I really like here in the US and that I wish it would be the same way in Brazil, is that in all Libraries here they have fun and learning activities for all ages, weekly. Last Friday I took my youngest son to the library that’s close to our house and it was awesome. It’s not just about playing and having fun but also about developing social and cognitive abilities.
When the kids first get there, they have some free time to play and to interact with other kids and their family members, then it’s circle time. They sing, talk, share what’s on their minds and there’s also a story time. It’s not only good for the kids but also for their family members because they get to interact with other people and to share their own experiences.
It might seem something so little but it’s very important for the healthy growth of our children. We have to invest in our kids the right way and to spend quality time with them. This will make a huge difference in their lives.
